For the main dishes, we chose the Tost&oacute;n de Cordero Asado and the Oxtail&mdash;two hearty selections that certainly did not disappoint. The lamb dish, the Tost&oacute;n de Cordero Asado, was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. The lamb was prepared meticulously, likely slow-cooked to perfection before being shaped in a mold and subsequently grilled to give it a crisp finish. The meat was tender, succulent, and bursting with flavor, complemented beautifully by an azafr&aacute;n pear and a subtly flavored sauce that tied all elements together without overpowering the natural richness of the lamb. The balance of flavors was exquisite, leading us to discuss and savor the nuances of this dish long after. The Oxtail, presented with a variety of small, artfully arranged vegetables, was equally rich and flavorful, as one would expect from such a robust dish. The meat was tender, with a deep, savory essence. Ikaitz delivered on its promise of a refined dining experience.

We really enjoyed our evening. Every bite of every dish was very tasty and a very high quality and the service was great. We had the wine pairing which we really enjoyed but thought it was expensive considering the tiny amount served.

This was the best meal we had in San Sebastian! The menu showcased a twist on traditional Basque Country cuisine with the freshest ingredients. We have food allergies and the chefs were happy to accommodate. We&#39;ll definitely be back on every visit to San Sebastian.

The food was creative and inspiring. I loved it! My husband likes a faster meal at once. If you like a tasting menu it is absolutely sublime.

After a weekend of sampling all the pinxtos in the old town, this was the most fantastic way to finish our trip - each bite of food was a sensation, the wine pairings were delicious and the service was top notch. We&rsquo;ll definitely be back on our next trip to the area!!
